Our mission
提供來到斯波坎的台灣鄉親需要的資訊與幫助，促進交流，讓在斯波坎長大的孩子們也可以透過交流更認識台灣。
Our mission is to provide Taiwanese people and families in Spokane with practical information and support, foster community and cultural exchange, and help children growing up in Spokane deepen their understanding of Taiwan through connection and shared experiences.

A new place, with a little of home
Moving to a new city or country can be exciting. It can also be hard. There are new roads to learn, new routines to build, and days when even a simple errand takes more thought than it used to.
Eastern Washington gives us plenty to love: wide skies, pine-covered hills, rivers, lakes, and four very different seasons. There is room to explore and space to slow down. There is also quite a bit of space between the places on your shopping list.
If you are used to life in Taiwan, you may miss having food, shops, and daily needs close by. Here, “just around the corner” can turn out to be a drive. Your nearest FamilyMart may be a little too far away for a quick stop. And asking one 7-Eleven to handle dinner, coffee, and every small problem of the day is a lot of pressure to put on a store.
You can enjoy building a life in Spokane and still miss home. Sometimes you want a familiar dish, a holiday celebrated in a familiar way, or a conversation in a language that lets you relax. You should not have to choose between feeling at home here and staying connected to Taiwan.
SpokaneTW helps make room for both. We share food, celebrate traditions, trade local tips, and get to know one another. Whether you have just arrived or have lived here for years, you are welcome to bring your questions, your stories, and your appetite.
